We're Reopening at Spotlight Hair & Spa on Friday June 12th, 2020!

We are very excited to see all of you again and have been busy preparing our salon and spa for your much anticipated arrival. We will be opening our doors once again as of this Friday June 12th, offering a select menu of services in keeping with our public health directives.

The safety of our team, our guests and our community is our top priority so your Spotlight experience will look a little different as we've implemented updated procedures in order to protect our precious guests and team members.

WHAT WE ARE DOING

  • Our spa and salon have been completely cleaned and sanitized and will be maintained with hourly and daily cleaning checklists.

  • We are receiving clients with an appointment at their scheduled time only. Unfortunately, we cannot accept walk-in's at this time.

  • We have implemented a safe check-in process with hand sanitizing stations and will provide disposable masks to guest who arrive without their own for a small fee.

  • We have clearly marked our spa and salon to allow for social distancing.

  • We have removed any work stations that are not socially distant from each other and have installed plexiglass shields for additional protection.

  • Our team will be wearing protective masks and will wash and sanitize their hands and stations before and between each client.

  • We use medical grade disinfectant for sanitizing all our tools and implements before and after each service. All disposables are safely thrown away.

  • Our team is very excited to see you, however we will be refraining from any hugs or handshakes at this time.

Spotlight might look a little different, but we are still the same great people following a new normal and our passion for what we do will continue to shine through.

WHAT WE ARE ASKING OUR GUESTS TO DO

  • Please wear a mask to your visit or one will be provided to you at a small fee.

  • Enter through the rear entrance (parking lot entrance) only and exit through the front doors only.

  • Please do not arrive more than five minutes in advance of your appointment time and be sure to stand in the designated areas along the ramp while waiting to be greeted by the hostess upon your arrival.

  • You will be required to sanitize your hands upon your arrival and answer screening questions before being admitted entrance.

  • Please do not enter if you are feeling ill. We are happy to rescheduled your appointment.

  • If you have traveled outside of Canada in the last 14 days, please email us to reschedule your appointment until after the required self-isolation period as per public health directives.

  • Please respect social distancing of 6 feet wherever possible.

  • Please attend your appointment alone, only clients with scheduled appointments will be allowed entrance into the spa or salon.

  • Kindly leave extra bags and coats at home.

  • Email us your appointment requests and appointment change when possible. Our phone lines and front desk are however now open for taking bookings and changes.

  • Please be patient with our team as we resume safely and slowly to full operations.

Most importantly, please enjoy your service. Spotlight's goal is to provide you with a happy place while helping you feel good and look great. We want you to love your new hair, manicure or pedicure. It's been a long while and we can't wait to see you!

Temporary Closure Update - March 17th, 2020

To Our Valued Clients,

  It has become clear to us in the midst of this complex and dynamic situation, that the only way for us to ensure the safety of our guests and team members, as well as that of their families, is for us to close our doors for the time being in an effort to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 throughout our community.

  This decision has not been made without labored consideration, and while we understand this to be our social responsibility at this time, we are deeply saddened to be unable to spend time with you, our amazing clients, until things settle back down to a new normal for us all.

  We will make it our priority to keep you apprised of any new information pertaining to our operations as it surfaces, and would like to assure you all that upon our re-opening, each of us will be dedicated to making your unique and individual scheduling needs our utmost priority, with a focus on all appointments that have been cancelled due to this closure. 

  Your continued support and understanding always fills our hearts and we are so grateful for each and every one of you.  We are wishing all of you and your beautiful families the best of health and a sense of togetherness that keeps your spirits elevated through this difficult time.  We truly believe that as a community we will be stronger on the other side of this ordeal.

~$2 from each service, ALL DAY, will be donated to our local Richmond Food Bank, by Spotlight Hair & Spa and Premier Massage Therapy

~Donations of 3 items or more will be entered into a RAFFLE for the chance of winning one of many Spa, Hair and Massage Therapy PRIZES, compliments of the ladies at Spotlight Hair & Spa and Premier Massage Therapy, who are graciously donating their time to this precious cause.

~Donations will be accepted for the ENTIRE month of NOVEMBER leading up to December 2nd

This will be the first of many events of appreciation from us, focusing on giving back to the community that we are so proud and honored to be a part of, and the clients, who's valued support allows us to continue doing what we love each day.
